Availability



All heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided free of charge. The cottage will be available at 4 o’clock on the start day of the booking until 10 o’clock in the morning on the day of departure

When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent by post or email.

A non-refundable deposit of £60 per week is required on  confirmation of a booking. The balance is then due 30 days prior to arrival. If the booking is in less than 30 days the full amount is required on confirmation. A receipt and directions to Dunrovin will be sent when the balance is received. Please make cheques payable to Dunrovin Holiday Cottage and post to Hillhouse, Minto, Hawick TD9 8SB. Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer.

Any cancellation made by the visitor for whatever reason should be in writing to the owner. On receipt of notice of cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let the cottage for the period of the booking. If the cottage is re-let for the whole period all monies paid will be refunded less an administration charge of £40 per week booked. If we are unable to re-let the cottage at all then all monies paid by the visitor are forfeit to the owner. For this reason, cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
